Cara! The invitation to the ensemble came just at the right time in John’s life. I think it gave him a new level of confidence…musically and socially.  John realized that “friends” are easier to make than he thought. And I realized that music really is an international language. I was impressed when after only 30 minutes of playing at the very first practice, the group sounded as though they had been playing together for years.  So, thank you for giving him that opportunity and broadening his musical horizon. He enjoyed the experience of being able to play whatever he wanted without being “wrong”, and utilizing pots, pans and dog toys to create music.
