Introduction

Private yoga classes allow you to work on the poses and stretches that make sense for you on your schedule and at your own pace. These private sessions allow you to ease into yoga in a safer manner, with proper alignment and a clear focus on your goals and needs.

Is this program for you?

I am passionate about teaching yoga because it literally saved my life. At the end of my masters degree in saxophone performance, I was suffering with excruciating pain. The pain grew to the point that I could barely walk. The hours and hours of holding the saxophone around my neck had led to a repetitive strain injury, scoliosis, and significant degeneration of my lumbar spine. This is when I found yoga, and since then yoga is the only reason I am still able to play music today. The practice of yoga asana strengthened and lengthened my body. Meditation centered and stilled my mind. My creative spirit is happy and free because of this work. Through private yoga lessons, I have the unique opportunity to share this life-saving practice with you one-on-one.
